Kindness Rocks Project

The Idea

The Kindness Rocks Project is a movement where people decorate rocks, then hide them around their community for others to find and/or collect. The intention is to spread kindness and promote acts of kindness around the community.

Materials

  • Rocks

  • Non-toxic paint

  • Marker (optional)

  • Non-toxic clear sealant

Instructions

  1. Collect some rocks that are smooth and flat in shape

  2. Wash the rocks with soap and water to remove dirt and other excess, then dry completely

  3. Paint your design onto the rocks with non-toxic paint, using multiple coats if necessary

  4. Add inspirational messages with marker if desired

  5. Coat the rocks with a non-toxic clear sealant to protect the painting

  6. Hide the rocks in your area for others to find and enjoy!
